Welcome to Wishing Well Summer Camp 2012!

July 9 -26:  Come Grow a Garden!

Monday – Thursday 9a.m. – 1p.m. (extended care available)

The program is open to children 3 through 7 and is taught by a certified Waldorf teacher.  The goal is to nurture and protect the young child’s sense of wonder and imagination. Children are encouraged to play, explore and imagine in a loving environment filled with natural materials.

July 9 – 26:  Come Grow a Garden!

Come and learn about all the wonderful things we can grow from the ground up!  We will be digging and building garden beds for our newly expanded garden that will feed our school.  We will learn about all the little critters that make soil healthy by composting our own waste using vermiculture and traditional compost methods.  Food not lawns!

Daily Activites:

Our Daily rhythm will include outdoor play, nature play, storytelling, songs, cooking, baking, crafts, games and water play.

Food:

A mid-morning organic snack will be provided.  Each child must bring a lunch.

Clothing:

Summer on the coast calls for lots of layers.  Morning fog can burn off and that sun is hot!  Please dress your child accordingly and make sure to apply sunscreen in the morning. Also please make sure you child has a full change of clothes just in case!

Sick Policy:

Please do not send your child to camp if he/she has had a fever or vomited in the last 24 hours.  If your child has green snot consider allowing your child to have a rest day at home.  There will be no refunds for illness or scheduled absence.
